ABOUT ME

I first started quilting over 30 years ago. I honed my skills and earned my reputation making quilts for those I love and taking every class and workshop I could find. After ten years I realized my dream of starting my own quilting business and have the fortune of “never working a day in my life.”

 

I enjoy creating art pieces that are both functional and beautiful.  I draw inspiration from my family and the beauty that surrounds me in central Pennsylvania. The simple things are what never fail to inspire - gazing at the patchwork quilt of farmer’s fields, the serenity of the rural countryside, seeing the stunning fall colors and hearing the crunch of leaves under my feet, experiencing the total silence of falling snow, enjoying the glow around a holiday table with my family – nature and everyday life shapes every aspect of my work.
