“Moon in the Pines” is created with a raw-edge applique technique which allows the crooked pine branches to eclipse the moon with a realistic appearance.  I heavily free-motion quilted the moon with a pebble stitch and the sky with waves and swirls to enhance the of texture and movement of this piece.  Pine needles in two iridescent colors of green add extra depth and a splash of color.  This is an original design.  This piece is finished with a clean and modern faced-edge.  A rod is included with purchase for hanging your art quilt.  Measurements: 7.75 x 9.75 inches.
