This beautiful landscape is created with colorful Batik fabrics which were carefully arranged to create an awakening sunrise that is greeting the mountains in the foreground.  I free-motion quilted the sky with wavy lines and quilted a swirl on the sun to highlight it in the early morning sky.  My free-motion quilting on the mountains defines their shape and gives texture to their surface.  My signature two colored binding frames the landscape and adds even more color and dimension to this beautiful wall hanging.  Mounted on a 1.5 inch depth canvas with hanging wire attached.  This art piece measures 13 x 13 inches.
