“Fall Sky” is created with a raw-edge appliqué technique that lends itself well to this magical scene.  For this art piece, I learned new techniques that allowed me to produce the whimsical effects of the swirling sky.  The free-motion quilting in the sky and fields brings out more movement and texture.  I was strongly influence by Darcy Hunters’ art.  This quilted art piece, is mounted in a black wood frame with attached hanger, measures 11 x 14 inches.  It’s a perfect fit for your house!
