 This whimsical wall hanging is quilted heavily.  In the beginning the house was not a stone house.   I meticulously free-motion quilted all the stones in place to give it an old country look.  This treatment gives the house more texture and interest than before.  Also notice the chubby sheep, the mane and tail on the horse, wings on the chickens, puffy clouds, and smoke coming from the chimneys.  This was a fun piece to quilt.  By adding all sorts of quilting designs I could make it come alive with dimension and texture.  I finished the quilt with a two pieced binding that adds an extra pop of color and dimension.   It has a hanging sleeve on the back for your convience.   This wall hanging would be charming in your home.
