“Winter Trees” begins by creating a tree silhouette.  With snow falling in the background fabric, and snowflakes in the boarder fabrics, the winter scene is finished with a bank of lacey-snow.  To allow this piece to remain flat and firm I decided to attach it to a stabilizer.  I then quilted the borders with straight-ish line quilting.  The attached rings on the back allow you to hang your art piece on the wall, or you may choose to prop it on a shelf.   10-inches x 10.5-inches.
